Located in Lake Success, NY; NHO, A Division of ProHealth Care Associates, offers the convenience of chemotherapy treatments on an outpatient basis, eliminating the need for long hospital stays. Our helpful and friendly team assists each patient with all aspects of patient care. Every effort is made to provide a pleasant atmosphere during treatment. Our facilities are equipped with comfortable recliners, televisions and video movies for the patients' enjoyment during long infusions.
Nassau Hematology Oncology, A Division of ProHealth Care Associates, LLP is affiliated with North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, and St. Francis Hospital in Port Washington. Our four board certified physicians and two Nurse Practitioners specialize in the treatment of hematologic and oncologic disorders. Our nurses, who adhere to the ONS Guidelines, are specially trained in the administration of chemotherapy and other closely related treatments. Our nurses are hand picked for their caring and comforting nature.
We recognize that there are many wonderful internists in our area; therefore we have chosen to exclusively focus on the practice of Oncology and Hematology in order to better serve our patients.

A patient's ability to understand the changes taking place within their body helps to alleviate fear and anxiety. We encourage patients and their families to take an active role in patient care by asking questions and sharing feelings and concerns. Our goal is to treat the whole person, one person at a time.
